Every Monday at 3:30. Ages 13-17. Looking for a relaxed space to create and connect with other teens? Come join our teen art community! Various art mediums offered to freely create including, alcohol-based markers, micron pens, pastels, mixed media collage, watercolor, acrylic paint, and more! This club will be evolving along with its members! Bring your sketch book, and all other materials will be provided.

This class is made affordable through generous community donations. We appreciate you!

Looking for a relaxed studio space to create and connect with others your age? Come join our tween art community (ages: 10-12)! Various art mediums offered to freely create including, alcohol-based markers, micron pens, pastels, mixed media collage, watercolor, acrylic paint, and more! This club will be evolving along with its members! A sketch book is recommended, and all other materials will be provided.

Join the party and create your own custom beach glass window during Milford Memories at the Suzanne Haskew Arts Center in Milford! Glass project is best for ages: 10-Adult.

*You can pick up your kit and sit down and begin your project anytime during your schedule class. Sit down and create it at the SHAC or take it home to do another time!

Create your own hand painted doormat (12 designs to choose from) - we provide the template and you choose the colors! This workshop is such a BLAST, no creative experience necessary! Great for a "ladies night out" or "date night"! Feel free to grab a drink from River's Edge & bring it over to the class. Instructor: Rachel Snell

November 2nd 10am-1pm $45

Broken china mosaics workshop - Make 3 custom mosaic ornaments (you choose colors, patterns & word(s). All supplies provided: ribbon, china, grout, tile, nippers. Ages 12+. Space is limited. Instructor: Bev Webb/Eye Candy Mosaics

Please join us for this beautiful garden stake workshop. You may chose to make ANY design you'd like. Like butterflies? Flowers? Boats? Display your beautiful creation in your garden or house plant with stake included. Approx size of glass piece is 6" tall x 3" wide. 

All materials will be provided. No experience is needed. The instructor will show you how easy it is to cut glass.  

All projects will go home with the instructor to be kiln fired and assembled and can be picked up the following week at the SHAC during open hours. An email will be sent out with pickup instructions.

Christmas in July!

July 18th 7pm, July 27th 10am

In this class, you will learn how to make beautiful and unique blown glass ornaments using Glaskolben pre-blown clear glass cylinders. Glaskolben are the perfect way to get into blown glass without having to learn how to pull points from glass tubes.

You will begin by learning about the different types of glass used in blown glassmaking, the tools and equipment needed, and the basic safety precautions. Then, you will learn how to heat the Glaskolben in the flame of a torch to soften the glass. Once the glass is soft, you will learn how to blow into the Glaskolben to expand it and create different shapes.

You will also learn how to add decorative elements to your ornaments, such as frit and stringers.

This class is perfect for beginners and experienced glassmakers alike. All materials and equipment will be provided.

May 9th, 6:15-8:15pm, $37 THIS CLASS IS SOLD OUT!

Just in time for summer...... decorate your house plants or outdoor garden with your colorful artwork made with love by you! Approx size 14" tall. No experience needed and all supplies provided. The base pieces will be cut for you and you can chose from an array of beautiful colored petals to cut and accent any way you'd like. This class is appropriate for ages 10 to adults of all ages. All projects will be kiln fired and can be picked up the following week (7-10 days) back at the studio. Instructor: Laurie Freeman with Kiss My Glass.

Make 2 fused glass ornaments that will be ready for pick up approx. 1 week later. You can choose to make Christmas ornaments or anything you wish (flowers, abstract, etc). No experience necessary. Under age 16 should be accompanied by adult.
