Multi-media artist and innovative art instructor, Julie Woodard, will be the speaker at our September meeting. We plan to have our Wednesday, September 23 meeting in Central Park, 7:00 pm.
A graduate from The University of Dayton with a M.A. in Clinical Psychology. Julie changed her focus to Art after taking a watercolor class at Emory University which started her on her artistic journey. After moving to Illinois, Julie continued taking more classes in drawing and watercolor. She was a member of the Lakes Region Watercolor Guild learning from many internationally renowned artists. Julie’s favorite mediums are watercolor and acrylic, but also enjoys pastel, colored pencils, collage, printmaking, and alcohol inks. Julie’s paintings can be found at Pierre Paul Art Gallery, Ann Arbor, and the Governor’s Exhibition, Lansing.
