Saturday, August 5 & 12

9:00 am- 12:00 pm

Instructor: Mary Bajcz

Nine patches are great quilt blocks for beginning quilt makers, but hold interesting possibilities for all when they are cut apart and reassembled with insertions. Blocks will be made with  free cut piecing techniques.

Basic Sewing Supplies

Sewing machine in good working order

Pins, needles, thread, scissors, ripper,

Rotary cutter and cutting mat.

Acrylic rulers if you have them.

Eight (or more) coordinating fat quarters (or equivalent in scrap fabrics)   If bringing scraps, make sure they are at least 6 1/2” square.    This is the bare minimum; bringing more fabric will give you lots more options.   You can also bring in orphaned nine patches to play with.
